Who am I? That's a loaded question! I'm Melissa to most and to some I'm Lissa. But please never call me Mel or Missy. I'm originally from Southern California but lived on the coast (briefly) before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2012. I currently live outside of Seattle and I absolutely love it.
I'm a Virgo on the Libra cusp for starters (though I'm pretty much the epitome of a Virgo -- oops), Jewish born and Pagan by choice, lover of fall and rain, often times snarky and I tend to run on sarcasm and caffeine. I have a laundry list of disorders (ADD, BPD, C-PTSD, GAD and Tourette's Syndrome -- see, I wasn't kidding) and am very open about my disorders as well as a believer in the fact that mental health should be discussed openly.
I love to travel and if I was forced to choose my favorite city so far, it would be Reykjavik, Iceland. I visited for several days in 2017 and absolutely fell in love. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could. I have family in California and try to visit at least once a year.
I'm tattooed (6 tattoos on my arms including an unfinished Star Wars half sleeve) and pierced (currently at four piercings) with plans for several more additions. I dye my hair on whims and cut it when it annoys me. I have a love/hate relationship with my hair.
I'm a reader who loves psychological thrillers, I enjoy cooking and baking, writing, journaling, spending time with my two cats (Adonis and Phoenix) and seeing my friends whenever I can. I work too much, cuss even more (the f bomb is my favorite -- not sorry), and sleeping in since I never get to do it enough. I'm a sucker for eyeshadow and stickers, am completely in lust with Adam Driver and Jeff Goldblum and my favorite band of all time is Nine Inch Nails - though I actually listen to a wide variety of music styles.
